Hong Kong Club was undergoing a club renovations & re-allocation of spaces within the club.
They wanted spearhead a digital library browsing and checkout system allowing members scroll through library items from an ipad.
With a library of items in the tens of thousands across multiple media types, batching titles together via different criteria, and connecting to a custom API to their library system, the project was ambitious, innovative and complex.
Defining and implementing the system was a large effort across multiple vendors and dependent resources over many months, ultimately requiring close to a year to bring to fruition.
Comprised of a mature prominent membership, many of which were limited in exposure to technology, designing an interface rich in features, textures, details, all on the limited space of an ipad, was definitely a challenge.

Being an internal club system, we were also commissioned to setup local hosting & maintain both the server health and update the library system as feedback from members was received.
